In Masaki Hagino's
work, the images seem to be vibrating. Transparent color layers give his works a mysterious atmosphere of ambiguity to his forest views. "It dwells inside." With these words Masaki Hagino summarizes his intention, a movement to the inner world. He sees his painting process as a meditation and questions the filter of emotions, prejudices and acquired knowledge that influence our perception. In this way his paintings invite the viewer to step into an inner space.
